The new home improvement grant will entitle you to claim back 13.5% of the cost of your new kitchen. The same applies to other home improvements works charged at 13.5% vat such as building, plumbing, electrical etc. The overall spend must be over €5000 and you cannot claim anything back on expenditure over the €30,000 limit.
